On my quest to pushing Serif PhotoPlus into giving comparable functions to PhotoShop, effects to create digital leather textures was the next on my list. Using stained glass filter as a bump, with offset and twice overlaid with the 2D pattern map and 3D lighting and embossed this test file was the result. The file is 800 x 600 @ 96 dpi, and therefore only suitable for web work, but still a useful addition especially if you’re searching for a leather background for mobile apps etc. ;)
The download contains readme.txt and 3 JPG files (800 x 600) prepared in three classic leather color overlays of dark gray, wine red and bottle green. Downloads temporarily unavailable.
